Fiskal is an accounting tool for small Swedish businesses. Because bookkeeping is inherently personal financial information, we keep this policy plain: we collect only what the service needs, we use it only to run the service for you, and we never sell it.
Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture, together with a stable account identifier.
Documents you upload. Bank and card statements, receipts, invoices and similar files you choose to add, along with the structured bookkeeping data extracted from them (transactions, amounts, VAT, counterparties, categories).
Email content, only if you connect it. If you connect a mailbox for receipt search, Fiskal reads messages matching its searches with read-only access, solely to locate and import receipts. We never send email on your behalf.
No bank connection. Fiskal does not connect to your bank, never asks for your bank login and cannot move money. Bank statements only reach Fiskal if you upload them yourself.
To provide the service: extracting bookkeeping data from your documents, matching transactions to receipts, preparing expense worksheets and invoices, and producing reports you request. Document contents are processed with the help of an AI service provider (Anthropic) as part of this work. We do not use your data to train AI models, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your data is stored in Fiskal’s hosted infrastructure (Railway) and is separated per user account. Access to the production systems is limited to the operator of the service. Subprocessors we rely on: Railway (hosting), Anthropic (AI document processing), Cloudflare (network and secure connections to fiskal.se), and Google (sign-in, and Gmail access only if you connect it). For the bookkeeping data you upload, the terms of our processing are set out in our data processing agreement.
For as long as your account exists. Delete individual documents at any time in the app; to delete your account and all associated data, email us and we will complete the deletion within 30 days.
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data, and you may withdraw consents (such as a mailbox connection) at any time in the app. Send any request through our contact form; we answer by email. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), the Swedish data protection authority.
Fiskal uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in, and short-lived cookies during sign-in flows. No analytics or advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking.
To see how the site is used, Fiskal counts page visits on its own server, without cookies and without any third party. For each visit we keep the page, the website or campaign you came from, your device type (phone, tablet or computer), your country and your browser language. To count unique visitors per day we derive a code from your IP address and browser using a secret key; the code changes every day, cannot be turned back into your IP address, and the IP address itself is never stored. On the public pages we also note how long a page was open, how far down it was scrolled and which part of it was on screen when you left, never mouse movements or anything you type. When you are signed in, we also note which pages of the app you use, so we can see which features matter. Statistics are deleted after about 13 months. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding and improving the service.
If this policy changes materially we will note it here with a new date. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
